EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO PREPARE

1. Book a plane ticket with your chosen airline. 

2. Prepare these documents:

  • Valid Passport
  • Roundtrip plane ticket
  • Itinerary
  • Online Banking/Bank Certificate
  • Paid Activities/Tour
  • Paid Accommodation
  • Vax Certificate 
  • Travel Authority (Government employee)
  • DTI/BIR (Self-employed)
  • COE/ID (Private employee) 
3. Download the Google Maps and Singapore MTR Offline App;  to help you get from point A to point B, as people in Singapore are not that approachable, so you can’t ask them for a location. 


4. Buy the Unlimited Tourist MTR card or EZ link on Klook, this serve as the mode of payment for public trains and buses.


5. You need to get a SIM card to have internet; you can get one on Klook.

8. If you are coming from the Philippines, you need to fill out the eTravel 72 hrs prior to departure and arrival. Here's the link eTravel.

10. From Changi Airport, you can ride the MRT if it's still open to go to your hotel; if it's not, You can book a ride on the Grab app.

TIPS

  1. Philippine Immigration is strict for solo travelers and first-time travelers, so to make sure you have smooth travel, prepare all the documents above.
  2. Bring a tumbler because water bottle in Singapore is expensive. You can refill water from your hotel accommodation.
  3. Wear comfy shoes since you’ll have to walk most of the time.
  4. If you’re on a budget for food, there are a lot of 7/11s in SG or you can eat at hawkers where the food is affordable; this is where you can find the locals eating.
