CORREGIDOR ISLAND

The island of Corregidor is also known as the Little Batanes of Mindanao. It's about 45 minutes from General Luna in the southern part of Siargao Island.

If you're already in Siargao and you're a hiking enthusiast, don't miss a trip to Corregidor Island.

📍How to get there?

It is only accessible by boat.

In our case, one of the Siargao Island residents invited my friend for a free boat ride, and he gladly accepted. We then accompanied him.

TIPS: BE HAPPY AND FRIENDLY to the locals; you'll never know they'll give you a boat ride for free as well.

Another way that I can recommend in order to get there is by booking a tour on the Facebook page: Siargao Activities/Nico Quintas.

Contact number: 0970-8969-348.

They have a Corregidor Island tour with three islands (Naked Island, Guyam Island, and Daku Island) that includes:

-Boat

-Cottages

-Environmental fees

-Tour guides

-Land service during tour

-Lunch and drinks

My Experience

It was a bit hot when we went there because it was almost noon at that time, but nonetheless, the hike is not hard, the view is definitely superb, and the locals are friendly.

In the middle of our walk, we stopped at this tree for a few minutes of rest.

The second person on the right side is Serg, who gave us a boat ride for free.

The famous coconut tree in the island.

The Little Batanes view of the island.
